GAME CORPS is a dynamic, inclusive community built for Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, and their supporters that aligns with our “Aiming for ZERO” campaign. Powered by Tech for Troops, our mission is to equip military personnel for the challenges of today and tomorrow through the unifying power of gaming, therefore, bringing down the number of those who take their own lives to ZERO. We believe one is one too many.
More than a community, GAME CORPS is a movement built on connection, resilience, and purpose. Through immersive gameplay and peer-to-peer support, we help Veterans navigate post-military life with strength, clarity, and belonging.
TECH FOR TROOPS AND VFW POST 6364 UNVEIL THE FIRST GAME CORPS “GAMING BUNKER” FOR VETERANS
Tech For Troops and VFW Post 6364 have unveiled the first Game Corps “Gaming Bunker” — a new space where Veterans can connect, relax, and strengthen mental health through gaming. The project, built in partnership with local Veterans and Tech For Troops’ Game Corps team, turns technology into a tool for camaraderie and healing. This launch marks the beginning of a nationwide effort to bring more Gaming Bunkers to VFW posts across the country.

ABOUT THE GAME CORPS TEAM
GAME CORPS is powered by a passionate group of veterans, gamers, streamers, and supporters who believe in the power of connection through play. Each team member brings unique energy, experience, and heart to the mission.
Driven by a passion for gaming and a deep respect for our nation’s Veterans, Jason Parker recognized the powerful role video games can play in supporting mental health and preventing suicide. Through research and personal experience as an Army medic and Navy Boatswain’s Mate, he saw how gaming offers Veterans a therapeutic outlet for coping with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more. Partnering with Tech For Troops, he launched GAME CORPS —a program that provides gaming consoles, games, and equipment to Veterans, along with a safe online community where they can connect, play, and rebuild the camaraderie often missing in civilian life.
