Turn Your Kroger Groceries Into Support for Veterans with Tech For Troops

Kroger Community Rewards makes fundraising simple: when you shop at Kroger and use your Shopper’s Card, a percentage of your purchases can benefit your chosen nonprofit at no extra cost to you. Tech For Troops is enrolled in this program, and your everyday Kroger purchases can help support our mission to empower under-resourced Veterans and their families with digital skills and technology.

Here’s how to sign up and link your Kroger account to Tech For Troops:

Step 1 — Create or Sign In to Your Kroger Digital Account

Before you can support a nonprofit, you must have a Kroger online account.

If You Already Have an Account

1. Go to the Kroger Community Rewards page or Kroger.com and sign in with your email and password.

If You Don’t Have an Account

1. Visit https://www.kroger.com/ and click Sign In/Register.

2. Choose Create an Account.

3. Enter your email address, a password, your zip code, and select your favorite Kroger store.

4. Agree to the terms and conditions.

5. Check your email and click the activation link Kroger sends you.
   Once activated, sign in to your Kroger account.

Note: You will need your Kroger Plus card number (the number on the back of your Shopper’s Card) to link your account to Community Rewards. If you don’t have a card, you can get one for free at any Kroger store customer service desk.

Step 2 — Go to Kroger Community Rewards

Once signed in:

1. Visit the Kroger Community Rewards page:
   https://www.kroger.com/i/community/community-rewards

2. Click Enroll Now or View Your Rewards (wording may vary).

Step 3 — Link Your Shopper’s Card

1. Ensure your Kroger Plus card is linked to your digital Kroger account.

   • If your card is not yet linked, there should be an option to Add Card or Link Card and enter your card number.

Step 4 — Select Tech For Troops 

1. In the Community Rewards section, look for a Search or Find Organization field. (Organization Number: RA828)

2. Type Tech For Troops in the search box.

3. From the results list, select Tech For Troops.

4. Click Save or Enroll to confirm your selection.

Once saved, the name Tech For Troops should appear in your account’s Kroger Community Rewards section. This means you are successfully enrolled and supporting Tech For Troops.

Step 5 — Shop and Earn Rewards

That’s it. Every time you shop at Kroger and scan your Kroger Plus card or enter your alternate ID at checkout, you will automatically support Tech For Troops.

Your purchases must be made with your linked Shopper’s Card or associated phone number to count toward the program.

Helpful Tips

• This support works at no extra cost to you. Kroger makes the donation from its own funding based on your shopping.

• It may take about 10 days after enrollment for your selection to show on your Kroger receipt.

• You can always return to your account settings to confirm or update your selected organization.
