Tech For Troops has partnered with WipeOS data destruction service. WipeOS is certified by ADISA, Ontrack, NIST 800-88 Rev 1 on both magnetic and flash-based media, Wallencore testing laboratory, and HIPAA Seal of Compliance.

We prioritize the secure destruction of all confidential data stored on IT assets that we receive. With our paid service, a key component of this process is the Certificate of Destruction (CoD), which serves as an authoritative audit document affirming the successful elimination of sensitive data from hardware such as hard drives, tapes, SSDs, PCs, laptops, Macs, servers, and other storage media.

The CoD provides assurance that we follow a reliable and compliant data destruction process in accordance with global data protection laws. This certificate guarantees that all data has been destroyed with due diligence, making it impossible to recover even using advanced forensic techniques.

By providing documented evidence of the permanent destruction of sensitive, critical, and confidential information, the CoD eliminates the risk of data breaches, identity theft, and legal penalties. We view this process as essential in maintaining the trust and security of our clients.

Until items are processed, we prioritize the security of all hardware and storage devices received at T4T. Our rigorous protocol ensures that all hard drives and other storage media are received by authorized personnel and subsequently stored in a secure, locked facility under constant camera surveillance.
