Each team member brings a unique blend of experience, from military backgrounds to high-level tech leadership, and shares a deep passion for making a difference in the lives of those who served.

MARK CASPER

President & CEO, Tech For Troops

Mark Casper is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, technology professional, and nonprofit leader dedicated to bridging the digital divide for veterans and their families. Since 2015, he has served as President and CEO of Tech For Troops, guiding its mission to provide refurbished computers, IT training, and workforce development for underserved veterans nationwide.

Under his leadership, Tech For Troops has expanded from a local initiative to a national force for digital empowerment. Mark helped launch the Veteran Improvement Program (VIBE/VIP), offering hands-on computer and career training, and has been a strong advocate for legislation like the Computers for Veterans and Students Act, which increases access to surplus federal technology for those in need.

Before joining Tech For Troops, Mark built a successful career in information technology and program management with organizations such as Northrop Grumman, Capital One, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

A proud Marine, husband, father, and grandfather, Mark leads with the same commitment to service that defined his military career ensuring every veteran has the tools and training to succeed in today’s digital world.

Glendon “Glenn” Schmitz

Chairman | Commonwealth of Virginia
Glendon Schmitz serves as the Chief Information Security Officer for the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services, where he oversees cybersecurity operations for 12 state hospitals and a workforce of more than 6,000 employees. A retired U.S. Air Force veteran with over 23 years of service, he brings extensive leadership and technical expertise to the board.

Matt Linderman

Treasurer | Atlantic Union Bank
Matt Linderman is the Chief Information Officer at Atlantic Union Bank, where he leads enterprise technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives. A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and a U.S. Army Reserve veteran, he combines technical innovation with a strong commitment to service and organizational excellence.

iViki Armentrout is a retired engineer from Dominion Energy, where she focused on nuclear safety, compliance, and operational excellence. She has long supported community engagement and corporate volunteer initiatives throughout her career. Viki proudly served in the US Army.

Jacob Hollingsworth

Jacob Hollingsworth serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Reliable Payments, a Richmond-based merchant services and payment processing company. He brings deep experience in fintech operations and business development, helping organizations streamline financial systems and scale sustainably.

Caroline Peters

Caroline Peters is Senior Counsel at CarMax, where she provides legal oversight and strategic guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters. Her legal expertise supports sound decision-making and organizational integrity across complex business environments.

David Harris

David Harris is a senior leader at Colonial Truck, guiding operations, sales, and strategic growth across the commercial trucking and logistics industry. He brings decades of experience in business management and operational efficiency. David Harris proudly served in the US Army.

Jeff Beaudoin

Jeff Beaudoin is the Director of Mission Applications for the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) where he leads the Development, Support, and Sustainment of modernization mission critical capabilities for a global workforce. A graduate of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security Resourcing and a combat wounded US Army veteran of 10 years, Jeff brings a wealth of experience in organizational leadership & change management, and a highly technical background from the tactical to the strategic levels.

Richard Black

Richard Black is the Vice President of Marketing for Acer America Corporation and offers extensive expertise in technology, product management and global branding. He leads all marketing activities for the company’s consumer and commercial business units throughout North and South America and provides valuable insight into social media, public relations and gaming.

Jeff Zalinski

Board Member | PestNow of Central Virginia
Jeff Zalinski is the owner and operator of PestNow of Central Virginia, a leading pest management company serving the region. A former U.S. Army infantry officer, he brings a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and community commitment to the board.
