Game Corps Family Game Night from VFW 6364

Game Corps, a program of Tech For Troops, is hosting a Family Game Night at Game Corps Bunker 6364 in Richmond, VA on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 at 7:00 pm. This event is designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and easy for anyone to jump into, whether you are bringing the whole family, coming with friends, or just looking for something fun to do on a Saturday night.

What is a Jackbox Game Night?

The evening will center around a Jackbox game night, a style of group gaming that focuses on laughter and participation rather than competition or gaming experience. Jackbox games are interactive party games that include trivia, drawing challenges, wordplay, and creative prompts. Games are displayed on a main screen, and players join using their own smartphones or tablets as controllers through jackbox.tv.

Most games support 1 to 8 active players, with additional audience participation, making it a good fit for families and groups of all sizes. You do not need a gaming console, special controller, or prior experience. If you can use a phone, you can play.

Why Jackbox Works for Families

Jackbox games are intentionally designed to be:

  • Easy to learn and quick to play

  • Inclusive of different ages and skill levels

  • Social and collaborative rather than technical

  • Fun to watch even if you are not actively playing

This makes the game night a good option for parents, kids, teens, and extended family members who want to spend time together without pressure or steep learning curves.
