Each year on November 11, businesses across the country honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s Veterans and active-duty military with free meals, coffee, discounts, and other tokens of appreciation. From restaurants to retail and even national parks, these gestures, big and small, are one way to say thank you for your service.

Here are ten of the best Veterans Day offers for 2025. Always bring proof of service, check with your local location, and confirm hours or participation before heading out.

  • Starbucks – Free tall (12-oz) hot or iced brewed coffee for veterans, active-duty, and military spouses at participating locations.
 
  • Applebee’s – Free full-size entrée from a select menu for veterans and active duty on Veterans Day (dine-in only).
 
  • Chili’s – Free meal from a select menu for veterans and active-duty military on November 11 at participating restaurants.
 
  • Golden Corral – Free “thank you” dinner buffet and beverage for veterans, reservists, and active military (dine-in) starting at around 4 p.m. on November 11.
 
  • Denny’s – Free Original Grand Slam breakfast for veterans and active-duty military, typically from 5 a.m. to noon on Veterans Day.

  • U.S. National Parks – Free admission for all veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day at National Park Service sites that normally charge entrance fees.
