Poker Run

Tech For Troops is riding for the cause!

Come out and join us on July 16th, 2022 for the T4T 2nd Annual Poker Run!

What is a poker run?

A poker run has 5 stops, including the beginning and the end, where you get one card at each stop. This makes a poker hand. At the end of the ride, the individual or team of riders with the best hand gets a prize. This year’s prize is a custom T4T Poker set! There will be other prizes available for raffle to help raise money for Tech For Troops’ mission.

Why should I get involved?

All proceeds go to supporting the T4T Community of Disconnected Veterans through technology and training. After getting out of the military, many Veterans become disconnected and lonely. They are unable to connect with VA benefits, family, friends, or even apply for a job because they lack the technology to do so. Something as simple as a laptop or tablet can mean the difference between poverty and a higher quality of life.

Will you ride for these Vets? Will you do what you can, while doing what you love, to help these Vets get the tools they need?

The Route

Beginning at Capital Ale House, 13831 Village Place Dr., Midlothian, riders will start on the route at 9:30am and continue through the day individually or in groups. For those interested in riding as a group, Tech For Troops will have a group leader to follow at 9:30am and 10:00am. The event will end back at Capital Ale House. In case of rain, a rain date will be announced before the day of the event for a date within 10 days of the planned day.
