Veterans in IT training receive free computers

Veterans using their GI bill to study at the IT training program at New Horizons Learning Center received donated laptops from Tech For Troops Project. Layton Clark, the Senior Director of Veteran and Workforce Education at New Horizons and an Air Force veteran himself helps veterans move into IT careers in high demand. When the veterans are doing classwork and studying for their certification exams including CompTIA, Cisco and Microsoft, they need a computer but rarely have the income to afford one. Tech For Troops Project donates computers to the veterans nominated by New Horizons who meet the qualification criteria.

Pictured below is one of the recent recipients along with Layton Clark. Thank you for your service!
